Phonak UK

Treadstone designed and manufactured a range of packaging boxes for several different hearing aid products for Phonak UK.

We used recycled board and low-density foam inserts to fulfil 60k units per annum. Each product had its own insert to fit the different components. Each box was carbon neutral as all elements were recycled and could be recycled.

We then manufactured the items in the UK, China and Europe and delivered them all into a central warehouse close to the client’s offices.

This allowed us to deliver in a small number of pallets on a weekly basis to allow the client to fulfil their orders on time without clogging up their offices.

We also created a recycled rubber zipper pouch to allow the clients to transport the hearing aids when travelling safely and in an eco-friendly manner.

In total we had to manage inventory and manufacture approx. 30 – 40 different SKU’s for this particular client.
