Senturion Watch Company

Treadstone were approached by Senturion Watch Company in London to create some unique packaging for a range of watches and bracelets that they had created.

Each item is used as an accessory for people who own or drive expensive super cars. Each item is programmed with a unique code which allows the wearer to open and start the super car without the need for a key. The wearer simply presses a button on the watch or bracelet and then opens the car and allows the wearer to drive the car.

Our task was to create a unique piece of packaging that would reflect the value of each item.

We used an oak-stained wooden interior carcass which had a base area and a lid area in two parts that were connected using quadrant hinges. The inner carcass was made from oak from sustainable forests and was 15 mm thick with a shiny black stained lacquer. On the outside of the box, we used carbon fibre metal x material from winters coverings.

This allowed us to make the box look like a piece of carbon fibre without the cost of the carbon which is too expensive.

The result was a stunning piece of packaging that fitted all the requirements and was still eco-friendly.
